Gunfist

It has begun! I almost missed the first episode of CSI series eight, due to not having watched five and hence failing to be informed about the start date, but the new season got off to a cracking start by, er, finishing up the old season. I was going to post a little bit about the episode, but while looking for screen caps I found the wonderful Grissom Sara Romance.com site (a name I’m sure chosen for it’s appropriate acronym). In the author’s words:

I’m not quite sure how much of this season exists, due to the writer’s strike, and I’m a little loathe to go looking for news due to the inevitable spoilers. I’d imagine they’d have a good chunk of the season in the can already, which should run five through until the studios finally get their act together and make a deal.

Also, full apologies for the title of this post to those that have seen the episode, though I think we can all agree it would be a general improvement if episodes of everything had Avengers style punny tag lines.
