As part of lovefilm’s continuing and reasonably bizarre diversification, they’ve recently started putting little bits and pieces of promotional material in with the dvds. The other day we got Scary Movie 4 with a sachet of Horlicks, today we get Ticker* with a couple of mini-bottles of nivea for men moisturiser, complete with entertainingly rubbish copy on the packaging:
“If you like movies you go to lovefilm”
“If you get irritated skin after shaving you use extra soothing moisturiser”
Doesn’t it just roll off the tongue?
