People that are good at stuff #5: Hiromi
I know that the words “jazz” and “fusion” are scary, and in general To Be Avoided, but this video of Japanese keyboard maestro Hiromi is just too good to miss, and damn funky (plus, as noted in the post I nicked it from, she’s pretty good looking, in a crazy jazz lady way). It takes a little bit to really kick in, but is worth the wait.
NB: I also enjoy the fact that the bassist appears to have an Ed Wood-esque Angora thing going on.
