Important TV Updates
1) Saturday’s CSI:NY Danny Messer Boom Sweepstake was officially won by me, with a correct guess of 2 utterances of boom in the episode. This is despite Mr Gray’s heinous attempts to pervert the course of boom justice with his claims of unboomworthyness.
2) For some reason there was no CSI last week in the US, and hence none here either, so 5 cannily dropped in an old episode, which really confused me when Sara walked in at the beginning. It was the one where Gil proved his true Crime Scene Playa status by sleeping with Lady Heather, then calling Brass for a warrant on her during breakfast.
3) The first episode of the new season of Shark was terrible. They’d even messed with the starting sequence, getting rid of the catchy “when I’m out in the water” song and the high-percentage James Woods content. However, they did keep the ear wrenching end theme, so that’s something.
4) House is a bit crap this season too. I’m mostly watching it to read the Polite Dissent medical review afterwards.
5) Intelligence, the canadian Wire-esque show, is absolutely brilliant and you should watch it. However, I do accuse the maker of irresponsible plotting, as they left everything wide open at the end of the second season when they knew there was a good chance they wouldn’t get a third. For shame.
6) El Nim needs to lend me more Seinfeld, stat.

Dude, one of your CSI friends was arrested for being high and having drugs.
I wonder who forensiced his car…?
